Instructions for Sublimating:
Preparation:
- A convection oven requires shrink wrap (sold separately) to apply pressure during baking.
- Accessories such as rubber bottoms and straw-cleaning brushes are available separately.
Application:
- Apply sublimation transfer on the tumbler surface using heat tape.
- For full wrap designs, ensure tight wrapping of the transfer around the tumbler and secure taping along the seam and around the top/bottom, avoiding air pockets.
- If the transfer doesn't fully cover the tumbler surface, use blowout/butcher paper to cover the entire tumbler.
Tumbler Press (Elite Pro Max):
- Press at 360°F for 120 seconds. DO NOT TURN (handle brackets prevent turning).
- Additional time may be needed for darker designs.
- Remove the transfer and allow it to cool.
Convection Oven:
- Apply shrink wrap tightly using a heat gun.
- Bake at 385-400°F for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway to ensure even heating.
- Caution: Avoid metal surface contact during baking to prevent shrink wrap melting.
- Remove the tumbler from the oven and immediately remove the shrink wrap and transfer. The tumbler will be hot.
Additional Notes:
- No sealant is necessary on sublimation tumblers.
- Hand washing is recommended to preserve the design quality, as heat from dishwashers may reactivate the sublimation ink, causing bleeding.
